From High Wycombe take A4010 through Princes Risborough, and 4 miles further on turn left at rbt onto B4009; at next rbt turn right onto A413; at next rbt turn left for Wendover; at T junction turn left, and Station Approach is on the right just after the Shoulder of Mutton pub. Seventh section of Ridgeway (linear) walk. Car shuttle to start of walk. Bring packed lunch and drinks for the day. The route is hilly. Optional evening meal. At next roundabout take 1st Exit onto A40 through West Wycombe village. Turn right into Chorley Road and car park is after the wall on the left. Circular walk from West Wycombe via Saunderton, Bradenham and Hughenden Manor. Pub lunch available at the Red Lion, Bradenham or picnic on the Green (HP14 4HF /SU 823,970). Mid afternoon tea at Hughenden Manor NT café.

Bring a picnic lunch and plenty of water if the weather is hot (this is a midsummer walk). Option of tea/or a meal at a local hostelry at the end of the walk.
This is a lovely walk which climbs up onto the Downs before heading south-east to the villages ofAldworth and Ashampstead. The climax is the ascent of Streatley Hill where you will be rewarded with spectacular views across the Goring Gap and a chocolate bar!

The afternoon walk is 5.5 miles. After a cafe visit we ascend toUffington Castle with amazing views, before returning to the car park.

Continue on Old Mill Lane for approximately 300m passing Vadis restaurant on the right and then park in lay-by on the right. Second part of the London Loop footpath. We will use a bus for the return journey to Aston Clinton; fare for those who pay is £4.30, and it would be best to have the correct fare ready. Bring packed lunch and drinks for the day. From east, A4155 through Bourne End village. Coldmoorholme Lane is the 5th turning on left after main village shopping area (The Parade).
Walk takes in beautiful views of River Thames towpath, a nature reserve, long ascents (not steep) and fields plus Enid Blyton's home (next door to the pub).
